Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: London Salary: £55,000 Shift: Days and Nights Job Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be working within a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are operating efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of automated systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment. You will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Sector: Logistics / Distribution Non-Negotiable Requirements: Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance background Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment (logistics, FMCG, manufacturing or similar) Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Ability to fault find under pressure and work independently Requirements: Experience with conveyors, automated systems or material handling equipment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to carry out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance Good understanding of health & safety procedures Team player with a proactive attitude Desirable Requirements: PLC fault finding experience Experience within a logistics or warehouse environment Knowledge of CMMS systems Continuous improvement or Lean experience Benefits: Competitive salary package Stable Monday to Friday role Training and development opportunities Pension scheme Holiday allowance Opportunity to work in a modern, automated facility If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
