Were recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering business, based near Swadlincote on their PM shift. My client is a genuinely well-run business where engineers are valued, supported and given the freedom to do their job without pressure.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who wants stability, routine, and a better work-life balance. Youll be based on one site, working closely with a team to keep plant equipment running efficiently with a 4-day working week.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

  • £43,000+ DOE
  • OT x1.5 and x2.0.
  • 33 days holiday.
  • Life Assurance.
  • Pension. (6%)
  • 4-day working week.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

  • Afternoons (2pm-12am).
  • Planned and routine maintenance.
  • Attend breakdowns.
  • Fill in necessary documentation.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture.
  • Drive efficiency with machinery improvements.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

  • Apprentice trained.
  • Ideally electrically qualified.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings.
  • Previous experience with heavy plant.
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Must be multi-skilled.
