Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire £40,000-£45,000 + Overtime Rotating Days | 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

We are recruiting 1 x Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer and 1 x Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist food manufacturing site in Chipping Norton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a niche milling operation - the only one of its kind in the area - offering excellent training, long-term stability, and genuine progression into senior engineering roles.

You'll be joining a close-knit engineering team, currently 2 engineers strong, with plans to grow to 5+ engineers within the next 6-12 months , creating clear development pathways into leadership positions.
\n\n ️ Key Responsibilities\n
\n \n Planned and reactive maintenance across food production machinery
\n
\n
\n Reducing breakdowns through continuous improvement and proactive maintenance
\n
\n
\n Machinery installations and project work
\n
\n
\n Working on:
\n
\n \n Separators, grinders, conveyors, elevators, washers, rollers, baggers
\n
\n
\n AC/DC motors, PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens), sensors, relays
\n
\n
\n Belts, chains, bearings, gearboxes
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n\n ‍ What We're Looking For\n
\n \n Time-served or apprentice-trained engineer
\n
\n
\n Minimum 3 years' hands-on engineering experience
\n
\n
\n Electrical role: 17th or 18th Edition qualification required
\n
\n
\n Food/FMCG manufacturing background (but not essential)
\n
\n
\n Strong fault-finding ability and proactive mindset
\n
\n
\n\n Training & Progression\n
\n \n Full on-site training due to specialist machinery and processes
\n
\n
\n Progression into Senior Engineer roles as the team expands
\n
\n
\n\n Package & Benefits\n
\n \n Multi-Skilled Mechanical: £40,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

\n Electrical Engineer: £45,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

\n Overtime paid at 1.25x weekdays / 1.5x weekends
