Our Client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join its operations team. This role is suited to a hands-on Maintenance Fitter who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and reliability.
Hours
Monday - Thursday 8am -5pm
Fridays - 8am-3.30pm
About the Role of a Maintenance Fitter You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of fixed and mobile plant and equipment used in industrial and mining environments. The role involves both workshop-based and potential site-based work, requiring flexibility and a strong commitment to safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Fitter Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment

Perform fitting, fabrication, and general mechanical repairs

Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions

Work with rubber-lined equipment, conveyors, and associated systems

Ensure all work is completed to safety, quality, and compliance standards

Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

About You Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter

Proven experience in industrial or mining environments

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High regard for workplace safety

Willingness to work flexible hours and attend site work as required
