Maintenance Operative

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and multi-skilled General Maintenance Operative to work with a leading Facilities Management company based at a government building in Bristol City Centre.
This is a 2-month temporary role supporting the on-site Electrical Engineer, with the potential for future opportunities for the right candidate.
Pay: £16 per hour – Paid weekly Contract: Temporary (2 months) Hours: Monday to Friday, Flexible start/finish (8am–4pm or 9am–5pm) Start Date: Immediate Parking: On-site parking available
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with general maintenance and support tasks across the site
* Carry out basic compliance checks including:
* Weekly flushing
* Monthly tap temperature testing (L8 knowledge desirable)
* Support the electrical engineer with planned and reactive works
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
Requirements:
* Proven multi-skilled maintenance experience (essential)
* L8 awareness or experience with water hygiene tasks (desirable)
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
* Reliable and able to work independently
* Immediate availability preferred
