About You

Are you an organised and proactive maintenance professional who thrives on planning and optimising engineering activities in a bakery or food manufacturing environment. You take pride in keeping production equipment running efficiently and enjoy coordinating across teams to deliver realistic and actionable maintenance plans. You're comfortable using data to drive decisions and passionate about developing routines that make maintenance predictable, safe, and world-class.

What we are looking for:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (minimum); HNC/HND or above preferred. Experience planning maintenance activities or projects, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG Knowledge of maintenance methodologies and continuous improvement principles. Stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and grow team members. Awareness of health, safety, and environmental legislation (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent desirable).

About the Role

As a Maintenance Planner, you'll be the strategic lead for planning maintenance across the bakery. You'll coordinate between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to deliver prioritised, realistic, and repeatable maintenance plans, while reacting flexibly to emerging opportunities.
