Job Title: Maintenance Plumber

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum


About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Plumber to join our facilities management team, working on a single, well-maintained commercial site in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified plumber looking for a stable, site-based role with no travel between multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all plumbing systems
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues
  • Diagnose and repair faults across water systems, drainage, and sanitary fittings
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with health & safety standards
  • Liaise with site management and other maintenance engineers
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed


Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently on a static site


Desirable:

  • Experience working within commercial buildings
  • Basic knowledge of other building services (e.g., HVAC, electrical)
