Job Title: Maintenance Plumber (Commercial FM)
Location: Central London - Static site near Oxford Street
Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our Facilities Management team, supporting a range of commercial buildings. This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys a mix of planned and reactive work and wants to be part of a professional, supportive FM environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing works across commercial sites.

* Diagnose and repair plumbing faults including pipework, drainage, sanitaryware, pumps, and hot/cold water systems.

* Work on commercial plant rooms, water heaters, pressurisation units, TMVs, and booster sets.

* Support minor mechanical and fabric maintenance tasks as required.

* Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with statutory and company standards.

* Complete job sheets, update the CAFM system, and maintain accurate records.

* Identify remedial works and provide parts lists and time estimates.

* Maintain good communication with clients, site teams and subcontractors.

* Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota (if required).

* Ensure plant rooms and working areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant at all times.

Requirements (Essential)

* Level 3 Plumbing qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).

* Proven experience working within commercial facilities management or building services.

* Strong plumbing fault‑finding and repair skills.

* Good understanding of commercial hot and cold water systems and relevant regulations.

* Knowledge of Health & Safety, including RAMS and safe working practices.

* Ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.

* Full UK driving licence (if mobile role).

Desirable

* Experience with water hygiene tasks (e.g., flushing, temperature testing, sampling).

* Basic mechanical skills (e.g., pump maintenance, HVAC awareness).

* Experience using CAFM systems such as Maximo or Concept
