Job Description
Maintenance Supervisor London £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
A Maintenance Supervisor in London is required to oversee a team of mobile engineers delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who still enjoys being on the tools, while also taking responsibility for coordinating workloads, maintaining standards, and supporting a team in the field.
You’ll be responsible for keeping operations running smoothly day-to-day, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main escalation point for technical issues and on-site challenges Adjust schedules and workloads in real time to respond to urgent maintenance needs Support engineers with complex repairs and fault finding when required Monitor performance levels and drive improvements across the team Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and regulatory standards Oversee daily planning using maintenance systems and scheduling tools Carry out audits of completed works, reporting accuracy, and general standards Supervise and support a team of mobile maintenance engineers Maintain accurate records, job updates, and reporting systems
Experience & Requirements
Previous experience supervising or leading a mobile or field-based engineering team Strong background as a hands-on Maintenance Engineer Confident using CMMS or similar maintenance scheduling systems Able to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment Comfortable dealing with client queries and resolving issues Practical, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownershipGoogle "Facilities Management Recruitment" for all our roles
