Job Description Maintenance Supervisor (1 Person Site) – FM Service Provider – London, Kings Cross – Up to £55,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has become available for a reliable and self-motivated Building Supervisor to oversee a newly built, premium commercial office space located in the heart of King’s Cross.

This modern development comprises three interconnected sections across multiple floors, blending cutting-edge technology with heritage-listed features. The building includes high-spec amenities such as a gym, roof terrace, collaborative meeting spaces, and restored historic architecture.

This is a solo site role with ongoing support from a roving supervisor and an account manager, both of whom are closely involved and on-site regularly. Ideal for someone confident working independently while still being part of a wider, collaborative team.

Hours of Work

\n 08:00am - 17:00pm

\n

NO CALL OUT rota, no weekends unless desired

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n Daily checks, planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems

\n

First response to electrical or system faults across the building

\n

Overseeing lighting controls, HVAC electrical components, and general LV infrastructure

\n

Supporting wider facilities operations and escalating where necessary

\n

Coordinating with mobile support team and on-site contractors as needed

\n

Maintaining system logs, completing PPM tasks, and ensuring close-out of all work orders

\n

About You

\n Electrically qualified - C&G Level 2 & 3

\n

LV experience

\n

Comfortable working solo on-site

\n

Proactive and able to problem-solve quickly

\n

Confident with automated systems and modern building tech

\n

Calm and professional in front of clients and end users

\n

Willing to assist in emergencies and flexible when required (rare, but supported)

\n
