The Role...
At Soho House, a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the daily upkeep, safety, and efficient operation of the club's facilities. Your role ensures that all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure are functioning properly, supporting a comfortable and safe environment for members, guests, and staff.
You will respond to maintenance requests promptly, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and work closely with the wider operations and housekeeping teams to maintain high standards across the property.

Key duties...
Carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
Conduct daily inspections of key areas, ensuring systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Respond promptly to maintenance-related tickets and member or staff requests.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, servicing, and scheduled maintenance.
Monitor heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, and water systems for proper operation.
Ensure all tools, materials, and areas are kept tidy, secure, and compliant with safety regulations.
Assist in setting up and supporting events from a technical or facilities standpoint.
Liaise with external contractors when required and ensure works are completed to standard.
Report hazards, safety issues, or maintenance concerns to the Facilities or Operations Manager.
Support emergency response procedures (e.g. power failures, flooding, fire systems).
What we are looking for...
A successful Maintenance Technician for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a maintenance or building services role within hospitality, retail, or facilities management
Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
Familiarity with building systems and preventative maintenance protocols
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation and standards
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision
Good communication and record-keeping skills
Flexible to work weekends or evenings as needed and be on-call for emergencies
Preferred Qualifications:
NVQ or City & Guilds in Plumbing, Electrical, or Building Maintenance
Health & Safety training (e.g. COSHH, manual handling)
Basic IT skills for reporting and logging maintenance tasks
