Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Bias)\n\nLocation: Knowsley Industrial Estate, Liverpool (L33)\nPay Rate: £16.11 per hour + Shift Allowance\nShifts: Early & Late Rotating | Monday–Friday + Every Other Saturday\nContract Length: Until 28/12/2026\n\nWe are recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Bias) to join a busy waste and materials handling facility based in the Knowsley Industrial Estate. This role is ideal for someone with solid mechanical maintenance experience looking for a long-term position within an established industrial site.\n\nThe Role\n\nWorking as part of the onsite maintenance team, your duties will include:\n\n * Mechanical maintenance, repair and inspection of plant and equipment\n\n * Identifying faults and carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance\n\n * Supporting general site upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operations\n\n * Working across rotating early and late shifts (06:00–14:00 & 14:00–22:00)\n\n * Working every other Saturday (06:00–14:00) as part of the rota\n\n * Following all site safety procedures and maintaining compliance standards\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven mechanical maintenance experience (industrial, engineering, plant, or similar)\n\n * Ability to work safely within an operational site environment\n\n * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\n * Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts\n\n * Good communication and teamwork\n\nPay & Hours\n\n * Base Rate: £16.11 per hour\n\n * Shift Allowance: x1.1333 applied\n\n * Shifts:\n\n * 06:00–14:00\n\n * 14:00–22:00\n\n * Pattern: Monday–Friday + every other Saturday (06:00–14:00)
