Maintenance technicianMAIN PURPOSE OF ROLETo assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and groundsRequirementsCity & Guilds in either Electrical and/or Mechanical Services level 3 or NVQ Level 3Previous experience in a multi skilled maintenance position with a core skill in either electrical or mechanical servicesPrevious experience in a shift technician role within a complex environmentMAIN DUTIESCarry out general repairs and maintenance to the Care Home, both interior and exteriorTo maintain the grounds and gardens to a high standard that reflects the general ambience of the HomeTo maintain the exterior appearance of the building by way of a general cleaning programmeTo be responsible for daily inspections of the grounds and buildings and to report any issues of concern to the ownerDuring the course of carrying out your duties, to be aware of opportunities for energy savingsReplenish cracked and fading paintworkEnsure that the generator is maintained and in good working orderTo be aware of the potential impact on our residents of any activity within the Home when working in close proximity to themCarry out weekly water testingCarry out weekly electrical testing in accordance with P.A.T.To maintain gardening equipment as fit for purposeMaintain all documentation up to date and report any anomaliesJBRP1_UKTJ
