We are proud to be exlusively recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of its production equipment and facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable daytime hours, weekly pay, and the chance to join a supportive and experienced engineering team.Key Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment inspections. Diagnose mechanical or plumbing faults and perform timely repairs. Complete planned preventive maintenance tasks. Work alongside production teams to address urgent maintenance issues. Maintain simple maintenance logs and documentation. Assist with the installation and testing of new machinery. Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards. Manage spare parts and liaise with external contractors when required. Desirable Skills & Experience Experience in maintenance, mechanical work, or plumbing (industrial environment preferred). Plumbing experience is preferred, but applicants with general maintenance skills will also be considered for a junior-level position. Qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
