We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our clients team based in the South London area! Are you a maintenance Technician looking to develop into a skilled, maintenance engineer with the guidance of internal training and experience? This could be the role for you! Our client is a well established, respected and successful company operating in the food manufacturing sector looking to compliment it's maintenance team with the addition of a Maintenance Technician. We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a full time, permanent basis. Therefore, if successful, you'll be employed directly by our client on a permanent contract. What you'll be doing: Alongside an experienced maintenance team, you'll essentially be responsible for assisting with the overall maintenance of all food manufacturing machinery and equipment, keeping the factory running, minimizing down time and ensuring health and safety. Understanding the basics, you'll be coached by an experienced Maintenance Engineer to become competent in the repair and maintenance of vacuum pumps, motors, values pipework, steam pipes and seals and associated food manufacturing machinery.
