My client is a Top 40 firm of Chartered Accountants. As a leading firm of Chartered Accountants, they look after the accountancy, tax planning and business advisory needs of their clients (individuals, businesses and third sector organisations both in the UK and overseas).

This role would suit someone with relevant experience in practice, someone looking to move to practice from industry or someone who has started their accountancy career and is looking for a new challenge.

The role will involve working within a growing team and offer the opportunity to shape the cloud accounting services offered by the firm, including Xero, QBO and Sage Accounting.

Duties will include:

Management Accounts Services

• Bookkeeping client records as part of management accounts services • Preparation of VAT returns • Preparation of periodic management accounts for clients • Desktop review of client records, including advising clients of corrections needed or updating client records as required • Assisting clients with general accounting and cloud software queries both remotely and at client premises • Answering related queries and providing assistance and reassurance to clients – we very much see ourselves as an extension of our client’s financial accounting solution.
