Management Accountant - Immediate Start

We are working with a well-established business in Chesterfield with an annual turnover of circa £20m, seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to join their small finance team. This is a key role, acting as number two to the FD, providing financial insight and support across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.

Supporting the FD with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Assisting with month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Producing ad-hoc financial reports and business analysis to support decision-making.

Providing commercial insight and recommendations to improve business performance.

Supporting the wider finance team and developing processes to enhance efficiency and control.

Requirements:
Qualified, or part accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret and present financial data.

Proven experience in a hands-on management accounting role within a small or medium-sized finance team.

Confident working directly with senior management and the wider business.

Excellent Excel and ERP system skills.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Chesterfield with an immediate start for the right candidate.
