Management Accountant

Proactive Personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of UK and Irelands leading equipment rental companies.

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their Finance team in Cookstown. This role will include budget preparation, financial performance monitoring and interaction with departmental heads across all depots.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm & Fri 9am-4pm, 35.25 hours per week.

Location:Head Office, Cookstown

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum DOE.

Duties Include but not limited to:

• Monthly management accounts
• Year-end accounts for auditors
• Internal recharges, accruals, prepayments and general accruals
• Fixed asset register maintenance
• Hire purchase
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation xbpsjku and payments to HMRC (VAT both UK and ROI returns, etc)
• Completing monthly/quarterly/annual surveys
• TSS declarations
• EC Sales and Intrastat
• Maintenance and improvement of systems
• Any other duties that are required to support the business
