About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a busy accountancy practice in Newport, Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong practice background to take ownership of accounts and management reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients. Hybrid working is available once the qualifying period has been completed.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of management accounts and financial statements for a variety of clients
*
General accounting duties, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end procedures
*
Supporting statutory accounts and tax compliance work
*
Preparing management information and reports to help clients make informed business decisions
*
Liaising directly with clients and providing support and advice as required
*
Contributing to practice processes and helping maintain high standards of client service
Skills and Experience Required:
*
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice (ideally 5+)
*
Strong experience with general accounts and management accounts preparation
*
Knowledge of tax compliance (personal, corporate, VAT) is highly desirable
*
Excellent communication and client management skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Qualifications:
*
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accountancy qualification
