Management Accountant

A growing construction business in Swansea is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership of month-end reporting, forecasting, and financial control, offering real visibility and influence across the business.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and decision-useful financial information to support operational performance, cashflow management, and strategic decision-making.

This role will suit someone who enjoys ownership, improving processes, and working closely with operational and commercial teams.

Key duties include:

Monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash)

*

Forecasting and variance analysis

*

Balance sheet reconciliations

*

Cost reporting and margin analysis

*

Working closely with operational teams

*

Using Xero (or similar accounting systems)

Requirements:

Proven Management Accountant experience

*

Strong Excel skills

*

Month-end ownership experience

*

Xero or similar system experience

*

Construction / project-based background preferred
