This will be achieved by maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset, remaining customer-focused, competitive, and operationally best-in-class.JOB TITLE:Management AccountantEMPLOYMENT BASIS:PermanentLOCATION:GloucesterHOURS OF WORK:40 hoursREPORTS TO:Group Financial ControllerKey ResponsibilitiesMonthly Management AccountsPrepare monthly management accountsCalculate and review cost of salesReconcile inventoryPrepare accruals and prepayments schedulesPrepare and review payroll journalsMaintain the fixed asset registerReconcile and agree intercompany accountsReview management accounts and analyse variancesBalance Sheet ReconciliationsPrepare balance sheet reconciliations including:Fixed assetsInventory and inventory provisionsPrepaymentsTrade debtors and creditorsWarranty provisionsAccrualsIntercompany balancesPerformance AnalysisSupport analysis of divisional performanceOther DutiesComplete month-end processesImplement process control improvements to ensure data integrity within finance systemsIdentify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvementsSupport system implementations and improvementsComplete VAT returnsSupport budgeting and year-end audit processesSkills & QualificationsACA / ACCA / CIMA qualifiedProactive and inquisitive mindsetExperience within a manufacturing environment and inventory accountingStrong Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems (e.g. Sage 200) advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsJBRP1_UKTJ
