Are you currently working as a Management Accountant/Finance Assistant within either a Manufacturing company or within Practice? Are you looking to join a supportive employer who will help you become fully Qualified! Well, this is the role for you... ?? The Role: Reporting directly to Financial Controller. Take ownership for completing the month-end close. Put together monthly management accounts and reports. Review and check financial results to make sure they make sense. Look after the nominal ledger, cash book, and fixed asset registers. Do monthly stock reconciliations. Keep track of key accruals and prepayments from different departments. Reconcile control accounts, including inter-company and suspense accounts. Complete Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual returns for the Office of National Statistics. Help with the year-end audit file and prepare the first draft of statutory accounts. Manage purchase order processing and service codes. Prepare and submit both UK and Irish VAT returns.
