We're partnering with a well-established and evolving business in Nottingham to recruit a Management Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (or those with circa 1 year PQE) looking to step into a commercially focused position with strong exposure across the wider business and flexible hybrid working.Reporting into the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality financial information, supporting planning cycles, and building relationships with key stakeholders to help drive performance and informed decision-making.Key responsibilities:Production of monthly management accounts, including commentary and analysisSupporting budgeting, forecasting and ongoing financial planning processesPartnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and challengeAssisting with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processesInvolvement in year-end activities and audit supportContributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance functionKey requirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or newly qualified with up to 1 year PQEExperience within a management accounting or similar finance roleStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with non-finance colleaguesGood Excel capability and familiarity with finance systemsMotivated, adaptable and keen to develop within a growing businessWhat's in it for you?Salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the Nottingham officeOpportunity to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking finance teamBroad exposure across the business with clear progression potentialIf you're a newly qualified accountant looking to build on your experience in a commercially focused role, we'd be keen to speak with you.
