Youll be joining a well-established organisation based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, known for its strong team culture and commitment to delivering high-quality services within the social housing sector. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant who can hit the ground running and bring sector-specific knowledge from day one.
Id love to hear from anyone with experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or Finance Analyst within social housing or a housing association. Please note, social housing experience is essential for this Management Accountant role.

In this position, you will be:
Preparing monthly management accounts with clear and insightful commentary
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Delivering variance analysis and financial insights to stakeholders
Managing accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
Partnering with housing and operational teams to support financial performance
Assisting with year-end or audit requirements where needed
Identifying and implementing process improvements

Id love to speak to any Management Accountant who has:
Proven experience as a Management Accountant (essential)
Previous experience within social housing or a housing association (essential)
Strong knowledge of month-end processes
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (e.g. SUN, Civica, MRI)
The ability to start quickly and work independently

This Management Accountant role is offering the following benefits:
6-month contract
Day rate of £200£220 (depending on experience)
Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
Full-time hours (Monday Friday)
Supportive and collaborative team environment

This role is based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, with a hybrid working model. The office is easily accessible via public transport and major road links, making it convenient for candidates across Birmingham and surrounding areas.
