Superb opportunity for a part-qualified or finalist level management accountant to work with a Big 4 trained manager. You will also work closely with the head of finance as well as head of FP&A in a bid to deliver accurate, insightful financial information that supports decision-making across the business.
The role of management accountant is offered on a hybrid basis and will be responsible for driving efficiencies, mentoring more junior members of the team and creating strong cross-functional relationships. Key responsibilities will involve;
Deliver accurate monthly management accounts with clear commentary, highlighting key trends and variances for senior stakeholders. Maintain accurate reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance and transparency. Assist in monitoring working capital, providing insights to optimise liquidity and operational efficiency. Conduct detailed analysis of sales, margins, and overheads across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels to identify opportunities for improvement. Support the FP&A Manager in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Partner with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams to provide financial insights for pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
