Managing Consultant / Senior Manager – Key Deals, Energy Transition & Utilities Join Capgemini Invent as a Managing Consultant or Senior Manager to drive transformation in the Energy Transition & Utilities sector. About the role As part of the rapid growth of our Energy Transition & Utilities practice, we seek an experienced senior leader to work on major advisory, consulting and transformation services across the sector. Our clients include Energy Networks, Energy Retail, Energy Central Markets, Water and Nuclear. The role involves setting direction, building senior client relationships, leading engagements, coaching junior staff and driving key deals that deliver tangible impact. Key Responsibilities
Lead high‑profile projects that enable low‑carbon, sustainable energy solutions. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team across digital, data, operations and AI. Engage clients at all levels, leading delivery teams to achieve improved performance. Shape strategy and drive growth for key deals. Own senior client relationships and act as a trusted advisor. Coach and develop junior team members, modelling our values. Contribute to business development and thought leadership. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Business Development & Personal Growth
Business Development – leverage existing relationships and network to generate revenue. Internal Contribution – participate in campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers and practice development. Learning & Development – continuous learning and training for career progression.
Profile & Qualifications
Experience in a consulting delivery role, delivering workstreams or programmes for clients. Strong consulting skills, ideally from a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background. Open, flexible mindset and collaborative approach. Commercial acumen with ability to grow revenue. Experience driving improvement initiatives across the civil nuclear lifecycle and related sectors. Proven success in a matrixed organisation, building support from peers.
