Job Title: Manual CNC Turner Location: Cwmbran Hours: 36 hours per week. Monday-Thursday: 07:30-16:00 ( hour lunch + 15-minute paid break) Friday: 07:30-11:30 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From £15 an hour Bonus: Performance-related bonus We are currently seeking a Time-Served Manual / Semi-CNC Turner to join our client's engineering team in Cwmbran. The Role The successful candidate will be involved in machining one-offs to small batches of components weighing up to 3 tonnes . Responsibilities include: Operating manual lathes and semi-CNC lathes Using a manual centre lathe and tooling to machine components to drawing specifications Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards Complete tool setting, including understanding cutting speeds and feeds Using measurement and inspection equipment (verniers, micrometres, bore gauges, etc.) Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment in line with ISO9001 standards Experience in milling ...
