First Call Contract Services are an employer of choice for candidates from many backgrounds, such as technician, mot tester, engineer, mechanic and many more.Why work with First Call?Working with First Call Contract Services gives you many additional benefits!Money saving offers and discounts at your fingertip24/7 GP helplineDiscounted Gym membership in over 2500 gymsOnline Payslip AccessPersonal InsuranceShifts for Manufacturer Recall Technician :Monday to Friday06:00-14:00Pay for Manufacturer Recall Technician:From £15.00 per hourPaid weeklyMain Duties of Manufacturer Recall Technician :Key ResponsibilitiesComplete manufacturer recall work on Stellantis vehicles (including Peugeot, Citron, Vauxhall, DS, Fiat and related brands)Perform software downloads, updates, and reprogramming using approved manufacturer diagnostic systemsCarry out minor checks and inspections as specified within recall instructionsUndertake light mechanical work associated with recall actions (e.g. component replacement, adjustments, basic repairs)Follow recall bulletins, technical instructions, and quality standards preciselyAccurately complete all recall documentation, job cards, and system updatesCarry out post-work checks to confirm recall actions have been completed correctlyMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working areaAdhere to all Health & Safety, workshop, and site proceduresCommunicate any issues, delays, or technical concerns to the supervisor promptlySkills and Experience of Manufacturer Recall Technician:Essential:Basic mechanical or automotive experienceConfidence using computer-based systems for diagnostics and software updatesGood attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructionsStrong focus on safety and qualityReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyDesirable:Previous experience working on manufacturer recallsExperience with Stellantis vehiclesNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)Full UK driving licenceTrainingFull on-site training will be provided, including manufacturer systems, recall procedures, and safety requirementsOngoing support from experienced technicians and supervisorsHealth & SafetyMust comply with all Health & Safety regulations at all timesUse of PPE is mandatory where requiredResponsible for reporting hazards, defects, or safety concerns immediatelyAdditional InformationThe majority of the work will be around cambelt replacements so if a level 2 has recently had experience in this type work they would also be considered for the role without having to have the diagnostic qualifications.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates to begin a career with a company that offers genuine long-term opportunities and career development.This job will suit any candidate with experience working at halfords, kwik fit, universal tyres or similar employers.JBRP1_UKTJ
