Manufacturing Engineer - Peterborough (Onsite)
12-month contract |Day rate: £261 per day / £40.16 p/h | Possible extension
We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the upgrade of production lines and the introduction of a brand-new product platform within a modern engine manufacturing environment.
This is a high-impact role where you'll play a key part in enabling new product capability across automated production lines.
What you'll be doing
Design and implement production processes for new product introduction
Support upgrades to existing manufacturing lines
Work across assembly, test, and finishing operations
Collaborate with global engineering teams and technical specialists
Drive project delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
Support tooling, layout design (2D AutoCAD), and manufacturing models
What we're looking for
5+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering
Background in automotive, aerospace, or similar manufacturing environments
Strong project management and communication skills
Experience with production process design & implementation
Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Creo or Fusion 360 (desirable)
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering

Working hours: Mon-Thurs 7:00-16:00, Fri 7:00-11:00 (flexibility available)
Travel: ~5%
Interview: 2 stages + short presentation
