Our client is a cutting-edge electronics manufacturing company specialising in high-precision instrumentation for the test and measurement industry. Their solutions support engineers, researchers, and innovators worldwide.
Due to continued growth and expansion of their automation capabilities, they are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with strong software and robotics expertise to join their team.
Position Overview
This role is focused on designing, developing, and deploying intelligent automation systems that enhance manufacturing processes and product performance. The successful candidate will work closely with hardware, manufacturing, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-precision automation solutions.
This position is fully onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and automated test equipment
Write and maintain production-level code in C++, LabVIEW, and Python
Integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems into manufacturing workflows
Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize production processes
Implement machine vision and AI-driven automation solutions where applicable
Troubleshoot and refine automation systems to ensure reliability and precision
Document software architecture, code, and system configurations
Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operationsRequired Qualifications
Strong hands-on coding experience in C++, LabVIEW, and Python
Experience working with industrial robotics platforms (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, or similar)
Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems
Knowledge of motion control, machine vision, and embedded systems
Strong background in assembly and test manufacturing systems
