CNC Manufacturing Engineer (Mill/Turn CAD/CAM Programmer) Base salary: £50,000 Shift allowance: 16.6% - Monday to Friday - Earlies and Lates - 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Total package: £58,300 - Negotiable Location: Birmingham We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering role focused on CNC programming, process development, and New Product Introduction (NPI) within a high variety, low batch precision environment. The role centres on supporting the Engineering Manager and acting as a key technical resource within the machining function. Key Responsibilities of this CNC Manufacturing Engineer position: Create, develop, and optimise CNC programmes for mill/turn and multi axis machining operations. Support the introduction of new CNC machines and implement robust manufacturing processes from scratch. Take ownership of 70% CNC programming and 30% process engineering, ensuring both are aligned with best practice. Review drawings, models, and specifications to assess manufacturability and propose improvements (DFM). Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including variants of existing products.
