A growing manufacturer based in East Lancashire with a strong project pipeline seek to recruit an accomplished manufacturing engineer to work on a range of projects concerning new product introduction, process development, plant layout and refurb, and continuous improvement – offering the right person huge great variety and technical challenge!

An innovative manufacturing organisation who have grown rapidly through acquisition, they have a range of ongoing investments into R&D as well as the improvement of facilities for existing product lines. Very well established and offering great opportunity for learning new technologies, formal training and career development.

We seek the following:

* HNC/HND/Degree in engineering or related technical discipline

* Proven experience in a manufacturing engineer, production engineer, project engineer or continuous improvement engineer in an assembly biased manufacturing environment

* Experience managing capex projects, from cradle to grave, working with external suppliers.

* DFM/DFA/FMEA

* Skilled in using AutoCAD for the design of process layouts

* Knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques (Lean Six Sigma)
