Morson are recruiting an experienced and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our leading aerospace client in Belfast.
The role will focus on driving continuous improvement into the industrial system to optimise wing manufacture, and ensuring on time, on cost wing delivery.
• Provide support for technical issues & continuous improvement
• Involve the support functions roles in the continuous improvement routines of the production team.
• Support capacity management and design consultation.
• Execution of robust, reliable and safe operations and working closely with the production teams.
• Analysing and optimising existing manufacturing systems.
• Defining component/part for new jigs & tools definition.
• Developing and deploying capability on new product introduction.
• Defining build process for ME and introducing manufacturing best practices
ABOUT YOU:
• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar field) preferable
• Or equivalent HND / HNC or NVQ qualification in Engineering preferable
• 3+ years of experience in the aerospace or automotive industry and manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of industrial processes and standards within the aerospace industry desirable
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and change in complex manufacturing environments
• Proactive approach to driving efficiency and resolving production issues
