Are you ready to take the lead in a dynamic manufacturing environment? At our Glasgow facility, we design and produce the renowned Waukesha Bearings and Inpro/Seal components. As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in directing and managing our manufacturing and process engineering functions. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you’ll guide a talented team in creating CNC programs, coordinating tooling and fixturing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Our facility is equipped with a diverse range of multi-axis machine tools, lathes, mills, grinders, and more. We handle a high-mix of customized fluid-film bearings, seals, and isolators, serving customers across Europe and beyond. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence!
\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\n
\n \nProven Experience: A strong background in precision engineering, with comprehensive management of the Manufacturing Engineering Department. \n
\nCNC Programming Expertise: Proficiency in offline CNC machine programming for complex components, utilizing advanced milling and turning technologies. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software like featureCAM, GibbsCAM, or Vericut is a plus! \n
\nLeadership Skills: Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. You should be a proactive leader who inspires and manages effectively. \n
\nContinuous Improvement Advocate: A track record of successful team leadership and the ability to implement Lean tools and Continuous Improvement techniques. \n
\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n
\n \nLead the Team: Oversee the Manufacturing Engineering team in creating and planning CNC programming, ensuring timely delivery. \n
\nCollaborate Across Functions: Work with cross-functional teams to determine the best manufacturing approaches and provide support on engineering issues. \n
\nFoster a Positive Environment: Create a motivating workplace that encourages skill development and high performance within your team. \n
\nDrive Performance: Develop and execute KPIs to enhance departmental performance, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are met. \n
\nContinuous Improvement: Actively participate in and promote improvements in manufacturing processes using Lean tools and CI techniques. \n
