Socode are partnering with a well-established engineering consultancy delivering complex product development programmes across multiple industries. As their project portfolio continues to grow, they’re looking to appoint a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to strengthen their capability across electronics and mechanical product delivery.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on bridging R&D and manufacturing. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products move efficiently from prototype through to scalable production, while building and developing a high-performing team.

What will you be doing? • Providing design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA) input across engineering projects • Supporting the transition of complex electronic and mechanical products into production • Managing and coordinating external supply chain partners and contract manufacturers • Driving improvements in manufacturing processes, tools, and best practices • Supporting bids and proposals with manufacturing insight • Working closely with project managers and technical teams to deliver programmes • Assessing supplier performance and resolving quality or delivery issues • Leading and developing a small team of engineers and technical specialists
