Job Description

My client, an Engineering company based near Dudley is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Planner on a permanent basis.\n\nAs the head of the planning tem, you will detail-driven ensuring customer orders are translated into effective build plans across all departments.\n\nThe main responsibilities of the role include\n\n- Create and maintain production plans \n- Utilize advanced Excel to analyze demand, capacity and performance\n- Utilize system(Sage) to plan production works\n- Work closely with other areas of the business to maintain proficient planning at all times \n- Promote all initiatives to improve production where possible\n\nAs a suitable candidate you will offer the following\n\n- Previous experience in a similar role\n- Strong Communication skills\n- Excellent IT Skills especially Excel\n- Proven ability to train and build high performance teams\n- Ideally knowledge of SAGE 200 and Sicon\n- Previous knowledge of translating Excel based planning to MRP System\n- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles\n\nThe salary on offer will be determined by the suitable candidates experience\n\nKeywords\nManufacturing, Engineering, Planning
