A leading manufacturing and automation company in Wrexham is looking for a Manufacturing Systems Software Engineer to join their automation team. The business designs and builds advanced production lines and uses robotics, automation and smart factory technology to support high-volume manufacturing and remanufacturing operations.

Youll be working on modern automation projects including robotics, cobots, Industry 4.0 and bespoke production lines used in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities
Configure and support SCADA, HMI and MES systems
Develop and support C# and web-based OT applications
Integrate PLCs and machines with databases and IT systems
Install, test and commission systems on production lines
Support and improve existing OT and automation systems
Work with IT teams on data, reporting and cybersecurity
Maintain clear technical documentation

Requirements
Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI or MES systems
Knowledge of industrial networks such as OPC UA, Ethernet/IP or Modbus
C# / .NET development experience
SQL and database knowledge
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Able to work across multiple projects and deadlines
