Overview
As a member of the Commercial function, you will work with the Commercial Strategy Director in identifying strategic threats, and aligning with enterprise objectives to accelerate growth, profitability and market standing. This role will provide market intelligence, conduct competitor analysis, and enhance client experience through client journeys and personas. This position is a 12 month FTC.
Responsibilities
Market Intelligence and Strategic Insights: Provide a 360-degree view of the wealth management industry highlighting potential opportunities and threats using information such as strategic priorities, competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, markets, etc.
Conduct continuous competitor analysis identifying opportunities and potential threats to the business and its existing strategy, informing action plans.
Lead market research capability proactively providing client and market research insights to inform or validate initiatives, strategic planning and input into proposition development.
Research and share trends and innovation relevant to wealth management as a point of inspiration, and highlight topics that can challenge the status quo to drive growth and improve client outcomes.
Strategic Planning & Data Strategy: Support Strategic Planning Managers of Bespoke and Wealth Planning to ensure strategy aligns with enterprise objectives and benefits from cross-functional insights.
Support definition of a data strategy enabling unified business reporting across Bespoke and Wealth Planning, this would also include the creation of an Information Memorandum.
Support development of performance insights and KPI reporting through collaboration with Strategic Planning Managers which will support strategic decision-making and investment in business development opportunities.
Support assessment of New Business Initiatives (NBIs) to ensure they return business value and improve competitive position.
Client Experience: Create client journeys and personas and partner with the business on how to best operationalise and gain value from them.
Work with the business to identify priority CX initiatives and oversee the implementation through the Voice of The Client and Client & Services Committees, including management of relevant third-party relationships.
Support Marketing to ensure a harmonised client segment marketing approach is taken with all campaigns and events.
Support delivery of a business wide client experience strategy aimed at identifying opportunities that embed the focus on client into everyday operations and decisions, developing the TrinityBridge client centric culture.
Work with the wider business and Central teams where required to gather and utilise qualitative and quantitative client research.
Share thought leadership to enhance client experience and client insights and evolve the approaches used across the business.

Experience in Financial Services
Understanding of client experience measurement techniques, including both qualitative and quantitative methods
High quality verbal and written presentation skills suitable for stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
Responsiveness to enquiries and requests
Ability to work at pace and maintain high quality of output
Proactive approach to work
Strong sense of initiative and a self-starter who can work equally well in a team or on their own
Workshop preparation and facilitation skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to analyse and derive actionable insights from both quantitative and qualitative data
Experience of conducting primary and secondary research
Experience creating personas and journey mapping
Experience supporting client experience strategy projects
An understanding of B2B, B2C and B2B2C markets
A broad understanding of digital technologies
Highly collaborative with proven experience working with adjacent teams and/or external partners e.g. Business SMEs, Design, Digital, Business Architecture, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Operational Excellence
An understanding of agile methods to assist us in forming, developing and implementing ideas
