Concept Culture is a boutique creative agency working at the intersection of brand, culture, and the built environment.
We collaborate with developers, local authorities, architects, placemaking and sustainability organisations shaping some of the most interesting places in the UK and beyond. Helping them tell clear, compelling stories about what they’re building and why it matters.
As we grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join us - someone who is curious, organised, proactive, and excited to be part of a small team doing thoughtful, high-quality work.
You’ll be working closely with our Creative Director and Creative Associates, with real exposure to clients, projects, and the inner workings of a creative agency.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both client work and Concept Culture’s own brand. At its heart, it’s about bringing ideas to life through meaningful content and keeping things moving smoothly.
You’ll be:
Creating and distributing content: Assisting with the production and publishing of content across social media channels, websites, newsletters, and more.
Supporting project delivery: Helping manage timelines, track progress, and keep campaigns on course across digital platforms, events, and publications.
Coordinating people and outputs: Working with clients, creative associates, and collaborators to ensure work is delivered to a high standard.
Supporting the Talking Place podcast: Helping with guest coordination, episode preparation, and the creation of supporting content (e.g. social posts, snippets, newsletters).
Contributing to business development: Supporting proposals, presentations, outreach campaigns and award submissions.
Engaging with the industry: Attending events and contributing to the ongoing growth of the Concept Culture network.
About you
You’re someone who is curious about the world around you, takes pride in your work, and enjoys being organised.
You have:
* 2+ years’ experience in marketing, branding, or communications
* Strong organisational skills - You’re good at keeping things on track
* Comfortable creating and publishing digital content (e.g., short-form videos)
* A clear and engaging writing style
* Familiar with design and content tools
* An interest in cities, culture, and how places are shaped
You don’t need to know everything - but you should be curious, observant, and open to learning.
A good fit if you…
* Have a point of view on culture, cities, or design - even if you’re still developing it
* Are interested in content creation and distribution, including podcasting
* Enjoy working across a mix of creative and operational tasks
* Take initiative and like being trusted to get on with things
* Are looking to grow within a small, ambitious team
What you’ll get
* The opportunity to work on meaningful projects shaping real places
* Close collaboration with the Creative Director and wider team
* Exposure to industry events and conversations
* A flexible, hybrid working environment
* The chance to grow into a longer-term / full-time role as the agency evolves
The Specifics:
* Renumeration: £26,000 – £30,000 (pro-rata, depending on experience)
* Commitment: Up to 3 days per week
* Start: Immediate
* Location: UK-based, with 1 day per week in London
* Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK
