This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Extended Leadership Group in a pivotal, high-impact role. As Group Director of Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment, you will set the strategic direction for the Groups brand, marketing, communications and student recruitment activity, ensuring full alignment with organisational priorities and ambitions.This Marketing Director role is a full-time (37 hours per week), permanent, all year-round position.You will lead a joined-up, data-driven approach to the entire student journey, from first awareness through to enrolment, progression and alumni engagement. Working closely with senior leaders, you will ensure strong alignment between marketing, recruitment, curriculum and the student experience, playing a key role in driving sustainable growth and enhancing the Groups reputation.As the Marketing Director, you will lead a transformational, insight-led approach that includes:developing and delivering a marketing and communications strategy aligned to Group prioritiesestablishing a clear and compelling brand position in a competitive marketleading high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement and conversioncreating a seamless, student-first journey from enquiry through to enrolment and beyondembedding digital innovation across recruitment, including CRM, automation and AIoverseeing reputation management, media relations and external communicationsproviding strategic leadership for careers and employer partnerships to support progressionThe role carries significant responsibility for delivering growth across 1619, adult, higher education and commercial provision. You will lead admissions and recruitment pipelines using data and insight to maximise conversion and minimise attrition, while ensuring an inclusive and high-quality experience for all students.You will also play a key role in external engagement, building strong relationships with employers, local authorities and key stakeholders, and positioning the Group as a civic leader within the region.As a senior leader, you will:inspire and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary teamfoster a culture that is ambitious, innovative and collaborativeensure delivery against key strategic objectives and performance targetsembed a data-driven approach to decision making and continuous improvementwork closely with the Executive Team to align strategy and operational deliveryWe are looking for a proven strategic leader with significant experience in marketing, communications or student recruitment within the education sector.
