My client, a global leader within the food ingredients sector is looking for a strategic, commercially driven Marketing Manager to shape the future of their categories and elevate their brand across the world.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a high‑impact marketing function spanning B2B, B2C, innovation, corporate communications, and category strategy. You’ll work at the intersection of commercial strategy, R&D, sustainability, and customer engagement, driving profitable growth and strengthening their position as a market leader.

What you’ll be leading

Category Strategy & Growth

* Develop a three‑year category strategy with the CCO, grounded in commercial figures, category analytics and market insight.

* Identify growth sectors, category priorities, pricing strategies, and range development opportunities.

Innovation & R&D Partnership

* Inspire and collaborate with R&D to build a robust, insight‑led innovation funnel across all categories.

* Ensure a pipeline of commercially viable concepts for food & beverage manufacturers.

Customer & Market Development

* Lead a structured Food & Beverage Gap Analysis programme for existing and new customers.

* Translate insights into actionable growth opportunities and customer‑specific strategies.

Brand, Activation & Go‑to‑Market

* Develop impactful 360° activation plans for innovation launches and NPD expansions.

* Equip and engage sales teams to ensure flawless execution in market presentations.

* Own all marketing collateral across categories, ensuring clarity, consistency, and commercial impact.

Corporate Communications

* Lead corporate communications, including press, annual reporting, crisis comms, and brand reputation.

* Strengthen internal communications to enhance employee experience and organisational clarity.

* Manage and develop the Communications Manager.

Events & Trade Shows

* Oversee trade show strategy and execution through the Events Manager.

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

* Coach and develop your direct reports, providing clarity, stretch, and motivation.

* Streamline processes, manage day‑to‑day category needs, and drive continuous improvement.

* Support or lead cross‑functional projects including sustainability, CSR, and corporate initiatives.

What you bring

* Proven leadership experience in marketing, category, or commercial marketing roles. Ideally 7+ years’ experience within a B2B food ingredients, flavours or food manufacturing business.

* Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insight into action.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Commercial acumen and confidence working with senior leadership.

* Experience leading innovation, brand activation, or category development.

* Ability to coach, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams.

* Ideally a degree or similar in a Marketing based subject
