Material Planner – First Fit Expeditor

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £15.38 per hour

Overview

Our client, a respected manufacturing leader, is seeking three organised and proactive Material Planners to support their First Fit Planning team. This full‑time 6‑month assignment offers hybrid working after initial training and an excellent opportunity to grow within a busy supply chain environment.

Working Pattern: Onsite first 3 weeks, then hybrid (3 days onsite)

Hours: Monday–Friday, flexible office hours

Key Responsibilities

• Validate shipment plans with suppliers

• Maintain a 5‑day rolling shipment plan

• Support inbound PO management

• Track shipments across multiple sites

• Join daily and weekly review meetings

• Contribute to smooth planning and materials flow

• Ensure data accuracy and timely updates

• Liaise with internal teams to resolve supply issues

• Provide clear communication to stakeholders
