Location - Corwen Salary - £30-£40,000 Join a world-class manufacturing operation who have recently invested in state-of-the-art production tech. This is a permanent opportunity within a leading UK manufacturer known for producing high-quality products. We're recruiting a motivated, detail-oriented Materials Controller (or Stock / Inventory Coordinator) to take full ownership of site inventory, material flow, goods-in, and despatch processes—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and support for high-performance production. THE ROLE Full oversight of site stock: turnover, FIFO rotation, organisation, and strategic placement Manage complete goods inwards/outwards, despatch accuracy, and on-time/in-full performance Lead the site stock check programme and supervise the goods-in team Coordinate consumables, PPE replenishment, supplier stillages/pallets/returns Deliver training, action plans, root cause analysis, and 8D responses for warehouse issues Maintain exceptional data accuracy in stock adjustments and allocations YOU Have done the role before in a similar company Organised, hard-working, with excellent attention to detail and a strong drive for accuracy Great communication, ability to multitask under tight deadlines, and proactive initiative Good computer literacy; experience with inventory/production control systems highly desirable Knowledge of general stores procedures (receipt, kitting, despatch) advantageous Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not essential — full training provided Positive mindset to drive continuous improvement and support team goals Secure permanent role with excellent long-term career prospects in a modern, high-investment manufacturing environment.
