I am working with a high-achieving and supportive school based in Lambeth to help find a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Academic Mentor to join their team. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with excellent opportunities for progression.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maths Academic Mentor who is passionate about Mathematics and eager to support students in reaching their full academic potential. The school is looking for a dedicated Maths Academic Mentor to provide targeted academic support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 support may also be required). As a Maths Academic Mentor, you will work closely with the Maths department to deliver small group interventions, one-to-one support sessions, and classroom assistance to raise attainment and confidence in Maths. The successful Maths Academic Mentor will be proactive, well-organised, and confident working with students of varying abilities.
What we are looking for: A strong academic background in Mathematics (minimum 2:1 degree from a reputable university)
Experience working with young people in an educational setting (desirable)
