Are you a recent Maths graduate looking to gain school-based experience before embarking on a career in teaching?

An outstanding East London secondary school are seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistants to join the school on a full time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Maths teachers to build classroom experience and develop the skills needed for future teacher training programmes such as a PGCE.

The Role:

Supporting teachers in delivering engaging Maths lessons

Working with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to support learning

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom activities

Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

Encouraging student engagement and academic progress

Candidate Requirements:

A degree in Mathematics or a related subject (2:1 or above preferred)

A strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive and adaptable approach

Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
