Maths Tutor | Southwark | Immediate Start
Are you looking to use your maths knowledge in a school setting while gaining hands-on experience working with young people?
Role: Maths Tutor
Location: Southwark, South London
Pay: £444 £513 per week (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract: Full-time, Immediate start, 1-year contract (extension possible)
Visa: No visa sponsorship
This Maths Tutor role is well suited to a graduate considering a future in teaching or education-related work.

Maths Tutor | The Role:
  • Supporting GCSE and A-Level students with maths through one-to-one and small group sessions.
  • Helping pupils improve their understanding of key topics such as algebra, geometry and problem-solving.
  • Reinforcing classroom learning and building confidence in numeracy skills.
  • Working alongside maths teachers to support lesson delivery and student progress.
  • Tracking pupil development and adjusting support where needed.

Maths Tutor | Person Specification:
  • A 1:1 or 2:1 degree in Maths or a related subject.
  • A solid understanding of the GCSE and A-Level maths curriculum.
  • Clear communication skills and a patient approach to learning.
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people academically.
