M&E Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Brighton

Salary: £40,000
Location:Brighton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Perks: Overtime Available, 25 days annual leave + public holidays

Our client, a highly respected name in the Facilities Management industry, is looking for a M&E Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team covering prestigious sites in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking a stable, MondayFriday role with variety, autonomy, and excellent benefits.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across two commercial sites
  • Electrical fault finding, testing, and minor installations
  • Supporting basic multi-trade tasks (e.g., plumbing, fabric repairs)
  • Participating in a 1-in-5 callout rota (£75 standby payment per week)
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations

What Youll Need:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
  • Experience in building services or FM environments
  • Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided)
  • Comfortable with basic multi-trade tasks
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
