M&E Quantity Surveyor (Assistant, Intermediate & Senior Levels)\n\nWe are a leading main contractor specializing in the construction, refurbishment, and remodeling of complex schemes across central London. Our portfolio spans multiple sectors, including CAT A and B office fit-outs, high-end residential, schools, hotels, and leisure.\n\nWe are currently looking for talented M&E Quantity Surveyors at Assistant, Intermediate, and Senior levels to join our busy team based in our central London office or on-site within Zone 1. These are permanent roles with an immediate start for the right candidates.\n\nThe Roles\n\nYou will be responsible for tendering MEPH packages on new projects and managing sub-contractor variation accounts.

Projects are typically procured on a single-stage, two-stage, or negotiated basis.\n\nLevelPackage ValuesKey Expectations\nAssistant£1.5m - £8m\n\nAssist Senior BSQS in the tender process; learn to identify design risks and manage variation accounts with supervision.\n\nIntermediate£3m - £15m\n\nAssist in the MEPH tender process with minimal supervision; identify missing design information, propose value engineering, and reconcile tender recommendations.\n\nSenior£3m - £15m\n\nDeliver a robust tender process for all MEPH elements; provide input on client cost plan assessments using historical data and detailed take-offs.\n\nKey Requirements & Experience\n\nWe are looking for candidates who can demonstrate competence in the following areas:\n\nTendering Expertise: Experience tendering MEPH packages (Mechanical, Electrical, BMS, Sprinklers, IT/Data, Security, AV, Lifts, etc.) on a 2-stage basis .\n\nCommercial Management: Proven ability to manage sub-contractor variation accounts, applications, and upstream change orders. \n\nTechnical Knowledge: Understanding of design risks, CDP requirements, spatial coordination, and compliances such as BREEAM, WELL, and Wired Score.\n\nAnalytical Skills: Ability to formulate detailed pricing schedules and interrogate sub-contractor tender returns to ensure full compliance.\n\nValue Engineering: Experience driving value engineering exercises and advising on MEPH alternatives. \n\nSkillsets & Attributes\n\nCommunication: Strong written and verbal skills for effective interaction with both sub-contractors and client teams.

\n\nSoftware: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and knowledge of Bluebeam. \n\nOrganization: Excellent attention to detail regarding document formatting and the ability to work to strict procurement deadlines.\n\nCollaboration: A team player with the personal skills to support the wider project team on complex MEPH issues\n\nRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
