Freelance M&E Quantity Surveyor - Potential for Permanent Role£400 per day | Hybrid Working (2 days from home)Location: Farringdon, London Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional seeking a long-term freelance role with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The RoleYou will be based out of our client's Farringdon office, working on a hybrid basis with two days per week from home. The role will involve supporting key projects within the infrastructure and energy sectors, with a focus on generators and data centres. Key Responsibilities Managing all commercial aspects of M&E projects from inception through to completion Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting Procurement and subcontractor management Valuations, variations, and final accounts Working closely with project teams to ensure commercial success Requirements Strong background in M&E Quantity Surveying (preferred) Alternatively, experience working for a main contractor in a similar capacity Proven ability to manage multiple packages and deliver projects successfully Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills What's on Offer Competitive day rate of £400 Hybrid working (2 days remote) Opportunity to work on high-profile generator and data centre projects Potential to move into a permanent position If you are a driven Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity with flexibility and long-term prospects, we would love to hear from you.
