M&E Shift Engineering Supervisor – Canary Wharf – £53,000\n Location: Canary Wharf\n Salary: £53,000 + Ample Overtime Opportunities\n Hours: 12-hour shifts – 4 days on, 6 off, 4 nights on, 4 off, 3 nights on, 3 days on, 4 off\n\n This is a rare opportunity to join a leading Facilities Management company as an Engineering Shift Supervisor, overseeing building maintenance within a critical environment in Canary Wharf.\n\n PRS Recruitment are seeking an experienced M&E Engineering Supervisor to coordinate planned maintenance schedules, oversee building control systems, and lead a team of maintenance engineers responsible for landlord services in a large commercial property.\n\n The Ideal Candidate:\n\nProven experience in a critical environment, understanding the operational demands and standards required.\nStrong technical background in commercial building services with a track record of delivering high standards.\nLeadership experience with the ability to manage engineers and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:\n\nSupervise a team of 2 engineers and oversee subcontractor activities.\nOrganise and manage all planned and reactive maintenance.\nLead a multi-skilled team (electrical and mechanical disciplines).\nEnsure health & safety compliance and accurate completion of all paperwork.\nMaintain plant room cleanliness and operational efficiency.\nDeliver reactive maintenance in line with contractual obligations.\nOversee minor improvement projects.\nAttend client meetings and liaise with stakeholders.\nManage external contractors.Requirements:\n\nCity & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 Electrical Installation (or recognised equivalent).\nBroad M&E knowledge within commercial buildings.\nHV certification (in date or recently expired – desirable but not essential).\nExperience in a supervisory role within a critical environment.\n17th or 18th Edition IEE Registration (or equivalent).\nApproved apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Building Services.\nHealth & Safety training.\nWillingness to learn and progress within the role
